Frequently asked questions

Does my credit really never expire?

+

Yes. Your USD balance has no expiry date. Use it next week, next year, or never — it stays in your account.

Do I need to sign up or give an email?

+

No. An anonymous browser token is enough to manage your eSIM. Add an email later if you want recovery from a different device.

Which countries are covered?

+

200+ countries including the US, UK, EU, Canada, Australia, Japan, South Korea, India, UAE, Mexico, Brazil and most of Africa and South-East Asia. See our pricing page for per-country rates.

How fast is the data?

+

You get full 4G/LTE and, where the local network supports it, 5G. Real speed depends on the partner network, the spot you're standing in and your phone — so we don't quote a number we can't guarantee everywhere.

Can I use hotspot / tethering?

+

Yes, hotspot is enabled on every plan. Share your data with a laptop, tablet or anyone else, no extra fee.

What if I run out of credit abroad?

+

Top up from any browser — your eSIM is back online in seconds. No reinstall needed.

Can I get a refund?

+

Top-ups are refunded as store credit, not back to your card or wallet. Unused balance simply stays on your account and never expires, so nothing is lost — you can use it on any future trip. Data you've already used isn't refundable. If something went wrong on our end and you couldn't get online, open a support ticket and we'll make it right. Where local consumer law gives you a statutory right to cancel, that still applies.

Does the eSIM give me a phone number?

+

No — this is data-only. You keep your home number on your physical SIM (Dual SIM) for calls and SMS.

Will it work on my iPhone / Pixel / Samsung?

+

Any phone with eSIM support: iPhone XS+, Pixel 3+ (US/CA), Samsung Galaxy S20+ and newer. See the full list on our compatible devices page.

How do I install it?

+

After payment you get a QR code. On iPhone: Settings → Cellular → Add eSIM → Use QR Code. On Android: Settings → Network → SIMs → Add eSIM.
